2025 David K. Bamford Educator of the Year - Nomination Form

The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce invites you to submit a nomination for the 2025 Business, Nonprofit, Citizen, Community Arts Champion, and David K. Bamford Educator of the Year awards program. This is an opportunity for member businesses to celebrate excellence in their companies and an opportunity to recognize those who have made a lasting impact in the Greater Dover community. All awards will be presented at the Annual Awards Dinner on March 13, 2025.

The David K. Bamford Educator of the Year award is presented to an education professional currently working in a Dover or Chamber member school who plans to continue in their position next year. The Educator of the Year will receive $1,000. This individual must:

• Employ innovative strategies to optimize student learning.
• Make a positive contribution to the community by fostering civic participation among his/her/their students.
• Encourage and foster cooperative relationships with colleagues.

Anyone can nominate an educational professional. An individual may nominate only one person for the award. Individuals may not nominate themselves. Individuals who have won in the past 10 years are not eligible to win. Current Officers and Directors of the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce are not eligible to receive this award.
