About Us
The RHFM is dedicated to educating children and the community at large about farming history through events held on the 33 acre farm property each year. The largest event being the Eliot Antique Tractor & Engine Show always the last full weekend of July.
We are preserving the beautiful 33 former dairy farm that has been in existence since the mid 1800's. Fourteen buildings are on the property and are maintained and in the process of being restored.
Two open pastures on either side of the homestead and the wooded area have all been utilized in programs at the RHFM. The original Milk House is being restored and is 95% done.
Volunteers are always needed to help at the events at the Raitt Homestead Farm Museum and also on our dedicated fun filled Farm days where we work side by side with volunteers to further the mission of the RHFM.
The RHFM is rented out for corporate events, weddings and other outdoor activities.Rep/Contact Info
