About our hosts:
Leone, McDonnell, & Roberts Professional Association CPA: The Certified Public Accounting firm of Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, PA has been delivering personalized financial, accounting and tax solutions to clients since 1973. For 50 years, relationships have served as the foundation of the firm. These connections, combined with extensive resources, industry experience and a commitment to excellence, have contributed to a rich history of growth and success.
Children's Museum of New Hampshire: 2023 is the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire’s 40th anniversary year and the museum is ready to celebrate with the community that has helped shape it into one of the state’s most well attended family attractions. CMNH’s 40th Anniversary events will be exclusively sponsored by Kennebunk Savings Bank. “We support the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire because we know the early years in a child’s development are critical, and we want to do our part to help build curious and engaged kids who become lifelong learners,” shared Kennebunk Savings’ President and CEO Bradford C. Paige. "We also love that it’s such a huge draw for families both near and far, bringing them to the heart of the great city of Dover. And honestly, supporting CMNH is just a lot of fun! We are excited to help celebrate the museum’s forty years in the community and look forward to recognizing that milestone all year long.” In addition to all its regularly scheduled events and programs, the museum has planned a few special events like a Dover Resident’s Day in June during which Dover residents can visit for $1 per person, and a Family Fun Day in July when all visitors will pay only $1 per person admission - which is what the museum charged for admission back when it opened in 1983! In addition, the museum will be sharing photos and memories from throughout its long history, and inviting the community to do the same. Check www.childrens-museum.org for updates.
Dover 400th: The mission of the Dover400th committee is to honor our past, celebrate our present, and to inspire our future through meaningful and creative community engagement. The City of Dover’s 400th Anniversary Committee is a group of appointed volunteers from diverse backgrounds who are all committed to one purpose: ensuring that Dover is celebrated to the fullest extent during our 400th year of existence. We are working hard to create a celebration that reflects both Dover’s storied past and brilliant future, and we hope to hear your ideas for marking our 400th anniversary over the coming years. Settled in 1623, Dover is the oldest continuous settlement in New Hampshire and seventh oldest in the United States. The city of Dover has a long and colorful history spanning nearly four centuries. Its earliest days as a colonial seaport led to a successful shipbuilding industry in the 1700s, and it flourished in the 19th century as the nation's leading manufacturer of cotton goods. The development of a brick industry spanned decades of successful mill operations through the middle of the 20th century. Dover's renaissance as a thriving, competitive community continues today.
Cornerstone VNA: Founded in 1913 by local visionary and philanthropist, Norma Snow, 2023 marks the 110-year anniversary of Corrnerstone VNA.
