  • Cinco’s Cantina Launches Month-Long Fundraiser to Support St. Jude

Cinco’s Cantina, a local, family owned Mexican restaurant with locations in Rochester, Dover, and Epping, is proud to announce a month-long fundraising initiative for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, will kick off on Friday, November 1 and wrap up on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.

For the entire month, guests at any of Cinco’s three locations will have the chance to enjoy two exclusive food and cocktail offerings with a portion of proceeds going directly to support St. Jude’s mission: "Finding cures. Saving children." Featured items are:

    • Mexican Chicken: straight from the family’s recipe book. Crispy breaded chicken strips topped with melted Mexican cheese sauce and sprinkled with zesty pico de gallo served with rice and beans.

    • Lavender Margarita: a refreshing blend of lavender, lime, and agave. Lavender adds a floral note that's both soothing and aromatic, offering a unique contrast to the boldness of the tequila.

The restaurant has planned several other initiatives including:

Online donation component diners wishing to order take out can donate directly to the fundraiser when completing their online order.

Fiesta Fundraiser: on Wednesday, November 13, 20% of all sales from all three locations will be contributed to the non-profit.

Give Back Gift Card Promotion: for every $25 gift card sold during November 13-17, $5 will be earmarked for St. Jude Children's Hospital.

All proceeds will be presented to Maine Stars Cheer Gym as part of the gym’s ongoing fundraiser. Maine Stars Gym will award its donation to St. Jude’s during Friday Night Live at Cheersport in Atlanta Georgia in February 2025. Collectively, Friday Night Live has raised more than $530,000 since 2015 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

“Giving back to the community is part of who we are,” said Miguel Alberto Tellez, co-founder and co-owner of Cinco’s Cantina “We’re excited to partner with Maine Stars Cheer Gym to raise money for St. Jude’s --every meal counts, and every dollar makes a difference.”
