Dr. Emily D. Follo Joins Families First as Primary Care Provider

PORTSMOUTH-Greater Seacoast Community Health recently welcomed Dr. Emily D. Follo, MD, MPH, as a new primary care provider at their Families First Health & Support Center in Portsmouth.

“I’m excited to be on the team at Families First and to be working in community health,” said Dr. Follo. “I’m passionate about addressing health disparities and improving community well-being. I focus on understanding social factors that influence health.”

Dr. Follo joins Families First after finishing a Fellowship in Preventive Medicine at Maine Medical Center. She attended Tufts University School of Medicine for her medical degree in a program focused on community health. She also attended the University of New England for her master’s degree in public health. She completed her medical residency at Tower Health Reading Hospital in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Follo is board-certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, and she is board-certified in Preventive Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine.

Originally from Maine, Dr. Follo lives in Exeter with her husband and two children.  She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially at the beach.
